Red Rock Canyon. I grew up in Southern Orange County (CA), but back then, I never new this place existed. My guess is that it was on private land at the time. The red rocks here remind me of the desert southwest - a great hike for anyone in the area.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - This severe thunderstorm swept across northeast Wyoming and I intercepted it near Beulah. It spit out lots of lightning bolts as the sky got darker.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - I was camped on top of Warren Peak so I could watch the storms move off to the east. But the hazy skies meant I couldn't see very far.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - This lightning storm moved over top of me on Warren Peak. I was hoping it would strike the radio tower, but it's probably a good thing it didn't.
