Ein Nebelbogen entsteht, wenn die Sonne auf eine Nebelwand scheint und das Licht durch die mindestens 5 Mikrometer großen Tropfen reflektiert wird. Im Vergleich mit dem Regenbogen ist das Band des Nebelbogens ungefähr doppelt so breit und das einfallende weiße Licht wird nicht in verschiedene Farben gebrochen

A fog bow is seen in the same direction as a rainbow, thus the sun would be behind the head of the observer and the direction of view would be into a bank of fog (which may not be noticeable in directions away from the bow itself). Its outer radius is slightly less than that of a rainbow.

It is so hot in Germany today, so I remember cool days in East Greenland years ago (2002) and I wish to be there :)

We cruised with a small vessel from Iceland up to North-East Greenland ( Ittoqqortoormiit) and then along the coast down to Ammassalik South-East Greenland and back to Iceland.
