Theme: From this spot (Season 2)
I went back to Derryclare lake in Connemara (about 1 hour drive from the Galway city) .
Things have changed a bit there : the lake water dropped a lot , no more snow on the mountain and the colour of the grass . Looking forward to see how it will look in summer.
This picture was taken in very bright sunlight and it was quite windy there.
I used Lee big stopper and ND grad 0.6 filters.
Here is a link to see the same spot taken on a very cold winters morning.

“The Brief:
Although the theme topic does not suggest creativity, this is what we expect from you. The idea is that you choose one of your favourite photographers and be inspired by him or her. Either recreate one of his or her pictures or produce your own image in the style of the photographer. Be sure to add a reference to the original image or to the photographer in the description or as first comment. So we can check and be inspired as well. “
For this week’s theme I picked quite a few photographers whose work I admire. It wasn’t easy to pick one from the long list of amazing photographers.
In the end I chose Joel Robison. I love his photography (art work) and creativity , It is very inspiring.
My picture was based on Joel’s “A Seat Between Worlds”
