The fountain is the central point of attraction in the Great Court in Trinity College, Cambridge. This was taken when the sun happened to shine through a gap in the clouds. England is often quite cloudy, but when the sun sneaks through the blanket of cloud every now and then the contrast is quite spectacular.

This photo really needs a black background, so try viewing it large on black.

Château de Chambord was impressive even in moody, cloudy weather.

[Of all the photos in my stream, this is the one I like the most (maybe because it was taken with my first camera which was a point and shoot). As far as viewers go, however, it barely makes the top 30% in interestingness]
