note 25 May 2021: This photo of an osteospermum flower was taken 4 May 2020 in our garden, it has been so cold this year that these flowers are not out on 25 May. For me discovering beautiful bokeh is one of the best parts of macro photography and in this shot I'm pleased to get some playful foreground bokeh.

Called Cuckoo Flowers because their arrival coincides with the arrival of the Cuckoo Birds, and I can now report that a Cuckoo bird has now arrived in our neighbourhood.
