Some of my favs: Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Allah Rakha, Pt. Arbindo Chaterjee, Sachin Pimple (Jaideep Swadia's group), Balvant Sindha (Gandhinagar, Gujarat), whole BAPS NY Tabla crew: Aksher Patel, Priyal Bhagat, Kirtan Bhatt, Priyal Patel, Rahul Zala. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a few more people.
There are a lot of other inspirational tabla players out there, but the one who stands out the most is of course, my boy Ustad Zakir Hussain. Had the privilege of attending couple of his concerts. One was "Remember Shakti" in 2009, "Masters of Percussion" in 2010 and "Zakir Hussain with NIladri Kumar" in 2010. He is always so energetic, creative, incredibly intelligent in whatever he plays. Truly an inspirational person! Would love to meet him in person.

That's not fog by the way. It's snow. Heavy snow with even heavier wind!
Went snow shoveling house to house, for Akshardham fundraising. It was a learning experience.
After hour and a half of shoveling, we were headed to the search for next house, and that's when I took this shot.
Courage to move forward: The guy in the van seemed to have courage to move forward despite of difficulties. Funny enough, even Police, Ambulance and Fire Dept. cars and trucks were stuck in snow.
Added a little contrast to give a "movie" kinda look.

I realized that the more stuff you add to your design, the more messy it looks. I had completely opposite theory before. I used to add more and more layers until it looked good, which, of course, wasn't correct.
I made this wallpaper in like 1 minute. Even a 7 year old kid can make this. That's not what's important.
The main theme for this design was "Simplicity." It's really simple, YET effective. It does look attractive. Well to me it does.
And I believe that all the products Apple comes up with are relatively simple, in terms of Design. There is only one home button on the iPhone, iPod or the iPad, where as there are 4-5 different buttons on Andriod or any other phone. Basically, you get the point.
