~9th-10th century Anglo-Saxon high class warriors. The guy on the left has a full size cape + Hobbit sized cape to better give the silhouette of the era;s typical cloak.

---

Clearing a memory card from my camera and found these. I remember that I photographed these to "save" the combos before disassembling the figures to use as minis for D&D. That would have been a few years ago.

Thought I would share.

Years ago, before falling into this dark age, I went on a big Bronze Age kick (see also).

These guys were just derived from the general styles and armor technology of the time, while playing with different parts.

The one on the right was also inspired by the Scythians from Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones.

The left one, on the other hand, is a bit closer to some recreations of Bronze Age Scythians.

But don't take these as a historical representation, really just playing with combos

These guys I saw as probably Sea Peoples, but the side-by-side horns on the helmets maybe better match Aegean, Minoan, or Mycenaean examples.

Again, less of a historical illustration here and more just playing with parts.

Stitched up in dusty wool and leather, a figure of cunning and ambition arrives out of the wilderness: Bellerophon, son of a Glaucus sired in turn by canny Sisyphus himself.

Most called Bellerophon a murderer, but nobody seemed to agree on the victim. The only sense of fact was that he had killed someone, and now he was here to make reparations.
