Founded in 1919, the Bauhaus was a school of avant-garde architecture, design and art. This avant-garde building, designed by Bauhaus' founder Walter Gropius, presents paintings, drawings, sculptures, models and other objects and documents by such famous artist-teachers as Klee, Feininger and Kandinsky.

Berlin: Classic versus modern architecture.
A pity I could not visit the Dome of the Reichstag building this time. My visit occurred at the same time of the reunification 30th anniversary. Every monument had long queues and the streets were crowded with tourists. Police and prevention of terrorism made those days even worse.
