S. Domingos Church, in the center of Lisbon, near Rossio, is my favourite church in Lisbon. This Church has survived fires and heathquakes. In 1950, it was partially destroyed by a fire and has since undergone restoration, but there are still signs of the fire ( the burnt pillars and some other details). There, I always enjoy a deep spiritual experience, something almost apocalyptic, the feeling that the end of the world is close.
