My brother and I were looking for abandoned industrial buildings to photograph. In this area there are a lot of textile factories that are no longer active. They keep on intruding on the landscape. The river (rio Ave) suffered from the presence of the concentrated textile industry and became one of the most polluted rivers of Portugal. Will we, one day, enjoy our rivers again?
