one of four half lounge/half compartment coaches that were built by the CSAR.

These cars were also used as observation coaches on the original Union Ltd/ Express.
All four cars still survive today.

This dining car is one of four that are called Dalton twin dining cars as they are different from the Hendrie twins that have pillars in the dining cars and the Daltons not.
