Fjaðrárgljúfur is a canyon in southern Iceland. This canyon is 100m deep and 2km long. It was carved by the rushing Fjaðrá river over the course of 2 million years! This is a difficult location to photograph due to intense contrasts between the highlights in the sky and the dark shadows in the canyon. An ND filter is highly recommended.
