He was a great poser! He was in a small aviary that shares a wall with Scripps Aviary, across from the gorillas. Last time I saw him, his tail was much more impressive. Must be a seasonal thing.

Saw her name and nickname on a sign. I certainly agree with her nickname, given that in every shot that I took, her expression was just like this one.

The keeper wants to make a guide to identifying the nine monkeys in the enclosure, so she asked our Facebook Zoo group to help out with a bunch of images. We met up yesterday and did our best to fill her request. She provided a lot of special treats to them in order to get them to hold relatively still, which was only semi-effective. I was surprised to learn that Hibiscus is one of their favorites.

It seems unlikely that this image can help with an ID, but it was fun shooting them, despite the challenges of shooting the active monkeys through wire and in poor lighting conditions. They're really cute!
