Jan and I took our son and his family, who are visiting from Pittsburgh (New Kensington, actually), to the San Diego County Fair, yesterday, and judging by everyone's reaction, we all had a fair time at the fair. After eating the fair food, which was also fair, but fairly expensive, some of us went to the photography exhibit, which wasn't bad, actually, then we split up again and I went by myself to visit the hundreds of vendors, none of whom I trusted, so I didn't buy anything.

I had my camera along, but hadn't shot anything until, on my way out, I stumbled across the flower show and I was like a kid in a candy shop. So many beautiful flowers and so little time!
