I spent the day, yesterday, with my contact, Denise (DeniseJC), and we had a wonderful time, first at Mission San Juan Capistrano, then later, at The Flower Fields, in Carlsbad, about 30 minutes to the south. We both agreed that the best thing about Flickr is that it provides opportunities to meet and enjoy friendships with others, that we would have otherwise not even known existed.

Here's to you, Denise, and thank you for a great time, yesterday, and also, thank you for being you! And on behalf of all of Southern California, I apologize for not having all the well-needed warmth and sun that you were seeking. You certainly deserved it!
