Yesterday, my wife was picking the last of the plums, when this beautiful butterfly landed on our plum tree (appropriately colored butterfly for a plum tree, don't you think?). I managed to get out there with my camera before it moved on, but only got one shot. Fortunately, it only flew to the neighboring tangerine tree, but I was only able to get two shots there, as it flew away as soon as I repositioned my tripod to avoid the leaf blocking its left wing.

Notice the spider web (chic butterfly accessory) trailing across its left wing.
