The light on these tiny desert wildflowers really captured my attention as I walked by them, while placing a subject for our K-9 Search and Rescue training this morning. They are only about as big as two fingernails and the wind was blowing them all over the place when I came back to attempt to capture them. At least it made it easy to decide which images to throw away.

These flowers are really interesting to me, although I've not seen them before. I like the way a single stem has multiple flowers and each one of them has multiple smaller flowers. Kind of reminds me of Russian nested dolls.
