Tiger Nest Monastery

Had a wonderful experience hiking in Bhutan. Snow capped mountains, lush green valleys, gurgling mountain streams, incredible monasteries and above all friendliest people who were happy to welcome us into their paradise. Hope to return soon and explore more of this beautiful country.

Not sure if its the thin air or the sheer grandeur of these mountains that makes you feel breathless in their prescense.
Just returned from a 10 day hiking trip in the foothills of the Himalayas. I think I understand now why Bhutan is considered the happiest place on earth.
