The San Diego American Indian Health Center’s Annual Pow Wow in Balboa Park is a cultural event that showcases the heritage and traditions of American Indians.
I have photographed this gentlemen many times at local Pow Wows (I believe his name is Steve) I first photographed him many years ago at this Pow Wow. When I approached him to ask him to take his photo, he inquired as to what camera I was using. I said Canon. He replied that he didn’t like to be shot with a Canon since many of his ancestors were “shot” by a canon. We had a great laugh and I ended up with a nice portrait compliments of a Canon...camera that is.
Thanks guys for all your views, comments and favs!
Happy Travels!
