Fluidr / Guimaras Girls by www.SamAntonioPhotography.com

Only 15 minutes by boat from the busy port city of Iloilo City, Philippines is the Guimaras Island, so close but yet a world apart. I met these two lovely girls, who happen to be cousins, on their farm.

Why was I on a farm? Of course to ride a Caribou, the national animal of the Philippines! I use the term "ride" loosely since I was more like thrown off and with my back serving as a landing pad to break my fall. It gave the girls at least a good laugh.

On the way back to our jeepney (Filipino taxi) I asked the girls if I could take their photo. They said yes as long as they could take a photo of me and my nephew too with their mobile phone.

I asked them just to move a little bit for better lighting and they gave me their best pose!
