My introduction to the beautiful country of Colombia was the capitol city of Bogotá. I stayed in the historical district of La Candelaria, but it wasn’t until I photographed from Monserrate Mountain one night did I realize how enormous the city really is.
The capitol city sits at over 8,600 feet above sea level and with a population of over 8 million people, only Mexico City and New York City are the only North American cities larger than Bogotá.
Thanks guys for all your views, comments and favs!
Happy Travels!
