Reflecting back on my amazing journey through Colombia, I can't stop thinking about my time in Villa de Leyva. Some of my best memories were watching the locals flying kites in the Plaza Mayor in the late afternoon.

About three hours north of Bogotá is the Spanish colonial town of Villa de Leyva. It is considered the best historically preserved and one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia.

The town’s central plaza (Plaza Mayor) is the largest in Colombia and perhaps in all of South America. With its cobblestone streets and whitewashed buildings, Villa de Leyva is a photographer’s dream.

Thanks guys for all your views, comments and favs!

Happy Travels!
