It was a beautiful day here in San Ramon on Saturday and looking at this photo that I took makes me grateful to be alive and especially to be able to breathe, walk, see and hear. The memory of walking on a tree-lined street underneath a canopy of gorgeous trees, sun shining, t-shirt weather, the sound of a slight breeze rustling through the leaves with vibrant colored red, orange and yellow leaves gently raining down upon me is priceless. =)

Fall Colors around town

I've really been enjoying the local fall colors for the past couple of weeks while driving through town here in San Ramon and in Lafayette and from the freeway going through Danville and Walnut Creek. I've been wanting to take photos, but the ones in the medians and near the freeways aren't accessible. I didn't know where to look in the local east bay parks and then saw some listed by the park district, but didn't make it out over the weekend to any of them. The weather was absolutely gorgeous on Saturday especially. It was T-shirt weather, so I got out and took some photos here in San Ramon over the weekend. It was challenging to get some photos without the roads, houses, buildings, parking lots, etc. in them. Yesterday was much cooler and windier. I had to wear my down jacket! I The beautiful leaves will soon be gone, so I'm glad I got out! We're getting some much-needed rain here today (Yay!) and I'm hoping for some snow on Mount Diablo, which is a possibility! =)
