A beautiful morning at Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado.

I wish that it was as peaceful as it looks at this location but you're elbow to elbow with people wanting to get a photo too. It didn't dull my own enthusiasm for this sunrise though, I met people who knew me online and made new friends. I've always wanted to go here. Now I can say that I have and am looking forward to going again.

The aspens were in full Autumn yellow, which blended nicely with the warm orange light projected from the rising sun.

I made a trip out to the Painted Hill in Central Orgon after a snow. This is what I found there.

I think that the timing was perfect. I had been there twice before after snow. The forst time the hills were completely covered. The second time they were hardly covered at all. This time I was excited when they came into view. I had a good time photographing them with my long lenses. I used my Nikon 70-200 and my Tamron 150-600.
