Idyllic

Idyllic it is, but not everything is quite as it seems. The church was abandoned and a constant magnet for vandalism.

The Beamish Musuem were contacted with regard to dismantling the church. They dismantled it brick by brick and have reassembled and restored it.

I imagine it will nestle in this valley for another couple of hundred years away from the vandals.
