More experimentation with the TiltShift, though I did luck out on the weather. I'd been studying the weather every day from Friday, watching to see if the weather would stay pretty good. Of course the forecast said cloudy till 2pm and for a change it was right, at 1.30pm the clouds started burning off and we were left with blue skys. Shame some of the clouds didn't stick around, would have added interest, still, better that white overcast sky, so cant complain.

Shift only here to move the tower into view once the camera was leveled

More experimentation with the TiltShift, tilt only here. Being able to shoot at f8 really does open up landscapes to a new level of sharpness for me at least. I tried photographing this tree limb on my last visit in January. The light was poor on that day and I never processed the photo, as they say though, photography is all about the light.

Had a wonder down to the shoreline at Wind Point while I was waiting for the sun to go down a little more. Quite a difference from when I last visited here at the end of January, This is the last of the snow on the shoreline at least. Gives you an idea of how much ice there was there, soon reclaimed to the lake though, and the cycle begins again.

Just tilt here to get everything in focus at f11, again, much practice is required
