I was lucky to spot this little fellow this morning in the dewy grasses while tramping around in my neanderthal fashion, luckily I didn't step on him, but I did take a while to get a decent shot of him. As is always the case sod's law was on hand to mess with me... I didn't have my Macro lens with me, I did however have my extension tubes.
It took me some time to get this shot, getting the focus just right, adjusting the tripod, in the end I think this shot was hand held with the 85 f1.2 + 20mm extension tube to allow closer focusing, a combination I hadn't tried, but it worked reasonably well. This guy was soaked with dew!

Headed over to Cantigny this morning with a good friend of mine, Mark.B. We didn't take to many shots, but personally I got what I came for, a few nice frames and chewed the fat with a good friend, then we headed for breakfast and 'Eggsperince' back in Naperville, if you haven't been there... what you waiting for, its awesome!
