My daily camera walks provide proof that I'm living in a pretty rural area, and not in Northern California any more.

I've been in Arizona for six weeks now, and I'm certainly enjoying the new visuals.

I had some time to kill before picking my wife up at the Phoenix airport a few days ago. That, of course, gave me time for some photo therapy.

Walking through a downtown warehouse district, I liked the late-afternoon colors of this scene. There was no one around, but had there been, I'm certain they would have called the cops to arrest this weirdo with a camera.

I had to pick up my wife at the Phoenix airport this past week, and I spent some time driving around downtown prior. To me, the area was clean and medium vibrant.

Though I didn't see a lot of these rental scooters in actual use, the city seems to really be making them readily available. Instead of riding one and killing myself, I am now relegated to only taking pictures of them. It's called being old.

At the beginning of an afternoon walk in Saddlebrooke, Arizona a couple days ago, this was a fairly dull scene. Passing by it again 30 minutes later, the light had completely changed. Now, perhaps it was worth hauling out the Ricoh.

Visiting downtown Tucson again led me to pass more of their many diverse murals. From the web, it states that most of these were created by the Arts Brigade Downtown Project, with several social and economic goals for locals and tourists.

This image was at 626 N. 6th Ave.. I think most of us likely know who the gentleman is.
