Not many people know that my writing has always been as important to me as my visual work.
Since childhood, I’ve pursued both with equal vigour and tried always to extend or improve my skills in each.
I’ve always recorded my thoughts and ideas – first on a typewriter, but now thankfully via laptop.
Sometimes I post a combination of words and images to help illustrate an idea.
Whether online or in public spaces, my work has only ever found a tiny audience because it’s neither popular nor commercial in nature.
That anyone notices what I do is a blessing and I’m always flattered to hear when someone volunteers a complement.
I think much solace can be found in acceptance and the simple pleasures of life.
