A visitor at the Botanic Garden. Juv and been fed plenty of worms by local photographers. He became very friendly and allow us to get very close to take full frame shot of this gorgeous birdie. I was lying on the ground taking this shot.

Captured this with my daughter's Nikon 300s and 70-300 cheap lens. Old cam but much better than my m4/3 system for BIF. Have to check out later against the Oly Pro 40-150 f2.9 for BIF. I may eventually just go buy used light weight 300mm f4 for the D300s.
