Always appreciate a vivid paint job in a world of beige and safe. Some boat sheds near The Grove jetty arm. I just adore little vignettes like this.
Coated in a digitally created paint style layer, still just a beginner but hoping Iām making some progress.

MacKay's crossing on the way to the US Marines memorial. Mum and I met there recently to go on a Forest & Bird trip to see the lizard gardens on the Escarpment. When leaving Mum pointed out what she thought would be a good photo echoing what I had thought on my way there. Today I took the small detour off the highway to capture this. I like how they draw me in, gotta love a bit of symmetry. I was acutely aware of spending very little time on the tracks so took one photo at a time. I know how quickly trains can sneak up on me. Safety first! Happy safe snapping my friends :)
