My Christmas image this year comes from an unseasonably snowy Malvern Hills taken in April 2021, it's been a few years since we had this amount of snow at Christmas around here. This was the view from the slopes of Table Hill looking south to Sugarloaf Hill and the Worcestershire Beacon, the highest point on the Malvern Hills. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when a brief moment of bright sunshine lit up the foreground snow on the ground and the trees. If you zoom in you can see quite a few people out on the hill making the most of the last of the snow before Spring.
Due to circumstances beyond my control I wasn't able to get to the places I would have wanted to in the last year. Hopefully I can put that right next year, and I will do my best to come up with some new material to post here.

Monochrome long-exposure of the boulders on Uttakleiv beach in Lofoten, Norway. This was part of a great trip around the Arctic in a Volvo with my good friend and photographer Dave Morrow.

This is a blend of one RAW file that was double processed; once for the sky and once for the foreground.
