The train station and the train yard. Not quite a perfect match of the three photos, but at least it shows how big the station complex is.

Cerbère is the last French town on the Mediterranean border of France and Spain. I took this 3-image panorama with a 2-megapixel Canon PowerShot S200 while walking the old mountainous route from Portbou in Spain to France and back (14.4 km) in 2008. I was living in Figueres at the time. This is the first time that I've successfully stitched and processed the three images. It's more like a painting than a photo, but it works :)
The entrance to the tunnel to Spain is in the bottom left corner.

This is one of the strangest buildings you'll ever see. The former Belvédère du Rayon Vert hotel, designed in the art déco style by the Perpignan architect, Léon Baille, was built between 1928 and 1932 and has the overall appearance of a ship. It has its own cinema and a tennis court on the roof. In 2002, the building was added to the supplementary list of historic monuments.

The view of Cerbère as you descend into the town after driving or walking (I walked) the old coastal road from Portbou in Spain to France. The distance from Cerbère to Portbou on the coast road is about 8 km.
The photo was taken on 8 JUne 2008
