The buffet restaurant on deck 7 is divided into four sections, each with a focus on a different type of cuisine. During the day, the breakfast buffet is ubiquitous, but for lunch and dinner, each section specializes.

For the most casual dining experience on the Queen Mary 2, you can eat breakfast, lunch, and late night buffets at your leisure in the King’s Court.

For dinner, each section becomes a specialty restaurant, either Lotus, for Asian cuisine (a broad category to be sure), the Carvery, for British-style roasts, La Piazza, for Italian, and the Chef’s Galley, where guests can watch as the chef prepares and reveals culinary secrets.

Breakfast is extensive, with different kinds of eggs benedict, pancakes, waffles, salmon, herring, English breakfast, yogurt, cereal (Muesli etc) and much more.

The food is absolutely excellent and the service is wonderful.
