The Scroll and Key Hall (also known as the Scroll and Key Tomb) is the meeting place of the Scroll and Key Society at Yale University. It was founded in 1842 and is not actually a tomb but an elaborate, windowless meeting place. There are several undergraduate secret societies at Yale (including the Skull and Bones), the members of which often go on to hold powerful political, business and cultural positions in later life.
