This is a photo from sunnier times, taken in a local park a few weeks ago. Usually I photograph flowers there or the animals at their little farm but I like the old trees there too. This one lost a huge branch some time ago but it still looks beautiful.

I went for a quick walk in the park today as we had some rare sunshine and the weekend will probably not be so very sunny. As an additional treat I saw the little Alpaca again and this time even managed a photo. Wasn't easy as the Alpaca is dark and the sunlit snow was very bright.

Another capture from my trip to the northern Black Forest near Bad Wildbad. This is one of the first captures of that day and it was taken on my way uphill towards an area called Wildseemoor. It was still quite misty but there was a wonderful almost enchanted mood about the whole scenery.

A morning at Max-Eyth-See, Stuttgart, Germany. In the background you can see the the silhouettes of the city. In the early morning hours this place is so peaceful and quiet. This changes later during the day, especially on weekends as the lake and the parks which surround it play an important role as recreational area for the city of Stuttgart.

This is a shot I took at the dentist when I was there for a control visit after my dental surgery. Usually I don't take my camera with me when I have a dentist appointment but on a previous visit I had noticed this Christmas decoration in their waiting area and thought it was beautiful, simple but very effective. I admit that I also liked the idea of putting the Christmas baubles into a glass cylinder. That means that they would be out of reach of destructive kitties ....
