Yes, that's me, 1974 camping trip, sporting a once-glittery YES T-shirt and a Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers nautural coiff, and smokin' a butt (I think). Note the very high-end sound system. That's also probably the last time I was that close to a football. Taken with my vintage (even then) Exacta Varex IIa.

All of the Galapagos Islands we formed, or are currently being formed, by volcanoes. This one is now dormant now, and the rain forest has moved in and taken hold. The few remaining Galapagos Tortoises in the wild make their homes in calderas not unlike this one.

This is a new scan of an old print - it's been in every kitchen I've had since I printed it in the early Eighties sometime, and it was looking a little worse for wear, so I thought I'd clean it up and reprint it for the new kitchen.

Forgot to mention, the background is about a yard of black velvet, just sucks in the light like a black hole, no tricks necessary. B-) - Thanks for your comments and faves !!

This is an odd one.... It started as a daytime shot from maybe 1989 of the osprey landing on the branch, which I messed with in the darkroom using Kodalith high-contrast 8x10 sheet film, using a jar lid or something to create a moon. End result was a B&W print.

Years later I scanned that print into Photoshop, did the layers thing, dropped in another photo of the actual full moon, some yellow glow, and Vi-o-la, it's like art or something.
