A Male Black-tailed Dasher taken at the Pung-Waan Resort Hotel, Kanchanaburi, Thailand on the 6th February 2012.

There seems to be great confusion separating this species from B. sobrina (previous upload). In the field it's quite easy, B. farinosa is considerably smaller and the 'blue prunoise' is practically white, whereas B. sobrina is a medium sized dragon and the 'blue prunoise' is quite dark.

The vernacular names for these don't seem to make much sense either!
