A Fantastic Blue / Purple butterfly taken at the Atewa Range Forest Reserve, Ghana on the 27th November 2011.
Probably a Common Nymph (Euriphene barombina) but can't rule out Veronica Nymph
(Euriphene veronica) - Thanks to Les Catchick (aka: LPJC) and Karen (aka: Camerar) for ID help.

Probably a Western Dotted Border taken in the Atewa Range Forest Preserve, Ghana on the 27th November 2011.
You should definitely do the research before you go somewhere! I just found a PDF leaflet on the Atewa Forest I visited on Sunday and discovered it has it's own endemic butterfly! To quote from the leaflet " This is one of the rarest butterflies in Africa, known only from Atewa, it is considered critically endangered". I just took this one snap in passing as I had no idea of it's significance.... I wish now I'd stopped and taken more, oh well!!!!
Looks like this is probably a Western Dotted Border thanks to safi (aka:szsafian) for the updated ID... If my ID is incorrect, then the IUCN leaflet on the Atewa Forest is also incorrect!

There are several species of Eurema, so the ID may be incorrect!
