Probably a Six spotted Fishing Spider (Raft Spider) taken at Great Swamp Country Park, New Jersey (USA) on the 8th August 2011. Many thanks to 'Somatochlora' for help with the ID.

Apparently there are nine species of Dolomedes in the USA... if anyone happens to know which this one is? then please let me know!!!

This one was found at the side of a stream in a clearing trying to catch Ebony Jewelwing damselflies (Calopteryx maculata). I reckon it was about 3 inches long overall.
