I was very excited about this one!!!! A magnificent Male Orange Emperor (was joined at one point by a Male Blue Emperor (Anax imperator) which it dwarfed!)

Taken in Nairobi National Park, Kenya (East Africa) on the 21st November 2010.

A Female Two-Banded Cruiser (thanks to Erland & KD for sorting the ID).

Taken in the Gardens on the Fairview Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa) on the 21st November 2010.

Literally the first dargon I saw on arriving at the hotel... unfortunately I haven't used the DSLR for about 2 months, so mucked up the photos (It originally perched 'face on' and all 20 shot's had the wrong settings and are blurred!!!). It eventually flew off and I never saw another!

A beautiful Male Navy Dropwing taken in the grounds of the Fairview Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa) on the 21st November 2010.

I haven't got any of my books with me at the moment, so thanks to Steve Covey (aka Od0man) for sorting out the ID for me... I believe this could also be Trithemis dorsalis.
