An old and battered White-barred Charaxes taken in the grounds of the Fairview Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa) on the 21st November 2010.

There were several 'Charaxes' flying round the hotel (including a fabulous bright orange one!), but this old and battered individual was the only one that actually came down from the tree tops and settled for a photo... Thanks to Jon Baker for the ID.
