Unos días ha, la mía merced visitó la localidad de El Cañavate, en la comarca de La Mancha Alta conquense y, ante la vista de tan bella estampa, compendiando tantos típicamente manchegos encantos, como ofrecióseme, no pude resistirme a fotografiarla.
He de agradecer a mi colega y buen amigo, maese Antonio, que, presto, solícito y generoso, me prestase un objetivo más adecuado para ello que el que mi merced portaba.

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to visit the town of El Cañavate, in the region of "La Mancha Alta" of Cuenca (Spain); while I was there, I could see a view with such a beautiful catalogue of typical La Mancha charms that I could not resist photographing it.
I have to thank my good friend and fellow photographer Mr. Antonio for so kindly lending me a more adecuate and better lens for this occasion, that the one I had mounted on my camera.
