El último de los indómitos erguíase ante nos, cuan épico héroe, con la suya ufana, digna y desafiante arbórea figura en lo alto del ventoso páramo, aferrado con ahínco al somero pedregoso suelo, desde el que, en un marcado contrapicado plano, pudimos fotografiarlo.

Before our eyes, the Last of the Wilds stood his proud, worthy and defiant arboreal figure, as an epic hero, on top of the windy moor, clinging fiercely to the shallow stony ground, from where we could capture it with a low angle shot.

Tal y como advertido he en otras ocasiones, en una nocturna fotográfica gesta, no es "cosa rara" encontrarse con algunos de los más arcanos y terroríficos entes que habitan en el escuro mundo de las sombras; y eso mesmo es lo que acaecionos en nuestra más reciente fazaña, cuando fuimos a dar, nada más y nada menos, que con el Azotamentes, el cual, andaba vagando por las llanuras de La Mancha, quién sabe si quizás atraído por la Feria de Albacete 😊. Apareció ante nos, amenazador y desafiante, con el suyo refulgir en mitad de la escuridad de la noche, tal y como muestra la imagen... Afortunadamente, atinamos a enfrentarnos con nuestros fotográficos fierros al Azotamentes, faciéndole un par de retratos para, acto seguido, fuir despavoridos, pudiendo así vivir para contarlo...
Como podéis ver, el único límite en fotografía nocturna, es nuestra propia imaginación 😊 .
El próximo mes de octubre, comenzaré a impartir, junto a mi colega Antonio (Libisosanorum), en la Casa de la Cultura José Saramago de Albacete, el curso "Fotografía Nocturna. (Iniciación)" dentro de la oferta formativa del aula de imagen de la Universidad Popular de Albacete. A quienes os pudiera interesar, el plazo de matriculación comenzará el próximo día 24 de septiembre. Tenéis toda la información en la página web de la Universidad Popular de Albacete.

As I have stated on other occasions, in a photographic night outing, it is not a "strange thing" to end up coming across some of the most amazing and arcane entities who come out from the dark world of shadows, and that's what happened this time, when we meet none other than the Mind Flayer, which perhaps attracted by the famous Albacete fair 😊, was wandering through La Mancha plains. It was just before us, amidst the darkness of the night sky threatening and flaming forth, capturing our attention with their brilliance, as shown in the picture... Fortunately, we faced with our cameras the Mind Flayer head-on, being able to take a pair of shots and then, we fled terrified... Fortunately, we lived to tell about it ...
As you can see, the only limit to creativity in night photography is our imagination 😊 .

Bien sabido es que la noche es oscura y alberga horrores, por lo que, en cualquier épica nocturna fotográfica gesta, no es extraño acabar dando con algunos de los más sorprendentes y arcanos entes que habitan en el escuro mundo de las sombras, como, nada más y nada menos, que "El Rey de la Noche", que, desconozco por qué extraños designios, hallábase vagando por tierras de La Manchuela Conquense :-). Helo ahí, refulgente y amenazador, tal cual mostrósenos.

It's well known that the night is dark and full of terrors, so, in a photographic night outing, it is not strange to end up coming across some of the most amazing and arcane entities who come out from the dark world of shadows, and that's what happened when we meet none other than The Night's King, which I do not know why strange reason, was wandering through the lands of La Manchuela, in the province of Cuenca (Spain) :-). It was before us, threatening and flaming forth as shown in the photograph.
