El tiempo transcurre inexorable y, con él, arrastra todo cuanto ya es pasado, dejando tras de sí únicamente algunos vestigios que aún nos permiten evocarlo, tal y como ocurre con los restos de esta aldea en ruinas en mitad del llano manchego, simbolizando, a modo de fotográfica "vanitas", la desaparición de todo un tradicional modo de vida y de cuantos culturales usos con ella hallábanse asociados.
Hoy día, y a pesar de su ruinoso estado, además de un ejemplo de arquitectura rural manchega, supone también un etnográfico testimonio material de la tradicional forma de vida en la zona, basada en las labores agrícolas y ganaderas.

Time goes by inexorably and with it drags everything that is already past, leaving behind only some vestiges that still allow us to evoke that past, as is the case with the ruins of this old village, located in the middle of the plains of La Mancha, symbolizing, as a kind of photographic "vanitas", the disappearance of a wholly traditional way of life and the decline of all cultural uses associated with it.
Despite its dilapidated state, today, along with a clear example of the rural architecture of La Mancha, they also represent an ethnographic material witness to the traditional way of life in the area, mainly based on farming and livestock.
