I watched this pair for about 20 minutes. The larger one (female?) ate what I assumed to be some sort of waterfowl for about 15 minutes. The other stood by. When it was done, they squealed at each other and the larger one moved out of the way. Filmed with Olympus OM-D E-MI Mk ll and Swarovski Scope set at 60 x (3000mm equivalent)
I mentioned this even to Peter a while ago and he said he wold like to see it. In April, Connor and I were watching snow geese on a pond near Ryley when something spooked them. They started rising from the far side of the pond and then when they landed , they dud the same. Sorry for the quality of the video. I was not ready at all and had the camera resting on my window sill on the door. But it does capture some of the energy and our excitement.
