Saw a few of these on the wires (as seen below) in a few different areas when I was out on a trip in the Beaverhill Lake area after work.
I took several frames of the flight shot, but I kept this flight shot because it showed all the field marks when the wings were down.

I don't usually photograph these doves/pigeons as they can be found at your nearest light post or farm house in the morning. However, this series literally shows you the "Rock Dove." Its mate was feeding nearby and I wished the pair was on the same boulder.
Photography wise, not sure which one I like the best. The featured photo shows the crossed legs adding a bit of interest to the subject while the photo below shows all the field marks.
