This is my third encounter (Recalling encounter
#1 and
#2.) of an Osprey grabbing a trout off a local pond, and I wasn't really looking for them either. Must be an Osprey year for me this year! Although I skipped posting a few frames just to make each shot more interesting, all shots were keepers; they were sharp from start to finish, and each shot sharp from edge to edge!
The lead shot is probably my most favourite with the unique wing position above the head and still plenty of water splashes behind the bird. This may be my last Osprey series for the season. I hope everyone enjoys these photos just as much as I enjoy photographing this series! Thanks!
