Quebec City is not level! Everything is at steep angles and it is either cobble stones or stairs! Tough on the legs.

We left Vancouver - 21C+ and arrived in Quebec City, 6C+ mid day and a howling wind. Even faint dusting of snow in the mornings!!!!!

Everywhere you go there is someone babbling on a phone. I liked the old style when you had to hide in a phone booth and stick money in the box -far less intrusive.

Quite civilized 0 but needs more of the "Voyageurs" - the fur trappers in their canoes looking for beaver pelts for the british aristocracy's hat fetish. Bleached pelts in mercury - hence the saying "mad as a hatter"
I always liked the fact that Canada originated as a fashion fad!

I decided to throw in a roll of Arista Premium 400 in the D23 two bath - just to see how "tired" it was. Not to bad, a bit flat and some fog - but then the d23 is not good at cutting fog. Scanned well though.
This is from the Museum of Civilization in Quebec City. A bit bland from the outside, but nice inside (could also be that there was no icy cold wind there!) Some good exhibits but not enough on the early fur trappers.
