The new and old Voigtlander Nokton 50f1.5. The M-mount is not much smaller than the old LTM - but if feels more compact. The "Wasp Waist" design harks back the elusive Voightlander 50f1.5 in LTM mount. A lens based on the Prominent Nokton 50f1.5. Most were made for Prominent camera - but a handful was in in screw-mount - is now a very expensive collectable.
The new M-mount uses the same optical formula as the LTM Nokton - which is as good as it gets anyway.

M-Nokton 50f1.5 on a Leica M6 Millennium. Comfortable lens to use - quick focus with the distinctly scalloped focus ring. Less intrusion in the finder than the slightly larger diameter Nokton 50f1.5 LTM (this is a 0.58 findered Millennium).

Detail of the heavy scalloped focus ring and the angled f-stop ring. You can focus and change f-stop with a simple "slide" of the finger. Distinctly different feel to the rings too - less chance of mistakes.

The Summilux 50f1.4 vIi is "fatter" and the focus ring is a straight knurl - not very good for working with gloves or in wet weather. The M-Nokton feel better in the hand,
